Viruses are not considered living things because they do not contain any cells. However, they do contain genetic material and are able to reproduce.

 

 

  • Viruses are not living organisms.
  • Viruses are not organized into the living classification system.
  • Viruses are like parasites in that they must have a host cell to reproduce
