1.07 When in Rome: Keys to Communicating

Open a newspaper. Watch a TV commercial. Thumb through a magazine, or look at a roadside billboard. In each case you are going to find data, that is, information displayed in a variety of ways. You might see graphs, charts, tables, or diagrams, just to mention a few. In this activity we are going to take a detour to one of our favorite bike shops in Great Britain.


In this activity you will:
  • learn to read and interpret data presented in charts and graphs
  • practice skills related to analyzing information presented charts and graphs
