Time to Reflect
It's hard to imagine that the fungus I like on my pizza (mushrooms) is related to the dry cracks of athlete's foot. Fungi may appear to be very diverse, but on the cellular level they are very much alike. Fungi play many roles in the environment and in our lives. Some are helpful as they decompose and recycle nutrients, and others are harmful by causing infections. There is a fungus among us. We can't live with them, and we can't live without them.
