Look at all the numerous milestones that life has, and it all starts with a single cell. Cells grow and reproduce and grow and reproduce...and as they do, we grow and change! The life of a cell can be divided into two sections: interphase and mitosis. The majority of a cell's life is spent in interphase. Interphase is the long stage after cell division where cell growth and DNA replication occur; basically it is the time when a cell is doing its job.
