Cells are very delicate, very sophisticated machines. They have parts that have specific jobs and no job is unimportant. Cells come in one of two types. The prokaryote type cell is very simple in design, but still can carry out the processes needed to survive in its environment.

 

  • There are 2 basic types of cells: Prokaryote and Eukaryote.
  • Only single-celled bacteria have prokaryote type cells.
