2.07 Population Dynamics

Time to Reflect

Our hike is nearing its end, and we have just a little way to go on the Eco Challenge, yet we continue to be challenged! The detour we took to examine the adaptations of the crocodile was pretty exciting!

Let's review what we just learned and move on.

  • Environments have natural ways to control the population growth so that it does not get out of control.
  • Organisms have inherited characteristics, called adaptations, that help them be successful in their habitat.
  • Natural Selection is the process that occurs over long periods of time in which organisms change to meet the needs of their environment.
