Time to Reflect

We definitely used a lot of energy on this activity. We'll stop here at the visitor's center and spend a little time resting and refueling. While we're here, let's review what we've learned so far.

  • All living things need energy to live.
  • The ultimate source of energy from living things is from the sun.
  • Autotrophs are organisms that make their own food energy.
  • Heterotrophs are organisms that do not make their own food energy and must eat other organisms to obtain their energy supply.
