Oh, good, you made it. While she's making preparations for your departure, Matilda sent me over to supervise you with your final Safari Quest—the pig dissection. I'm Ellie, and I help with some of the tour activities, especially the ones in the lab hut. Matilda and the other workers are not too fond of the lab work, but I love it! No matter how many times I look at the internal structures of an animal, I am always amazed at the beauty and complexity that I observe. For this activity, you'll be investigating the anatomy (structures) and physiology (functions) of a typical pig. This activity is a virtual dissection.

Follow the steps below as you work through the Virtual Pig Dissection.

1. Open a Notes Page.
2. Copy and paste the following format into your Notes Page and then access the pig dissection.

      External features
      Thoracic (Respiratory and Circulatory)
      Abdominal Cavity (Digestive, Reproductive and excretory)
      Nervous system
   2. Go through the Quizzes section. Use these quizzes to test your knowledge.
