The Center for Disease Control estimates that about three percent of American homes have a reptile as a pet. Do you have a reptile as a pet? Do you know someone who does?

Adopting a reptile can be a big decision. Some are small and stay small. They make perfect pets. Other reptiles, like the Burmese Python, can grow 20 feet in length and have been known to kill their owners.
