8.00 Animal Kingdom Safari Quest
No, no, not the Disney attraction, the taxonomic Animal Kingdom. We begin your final BioVentures Tour in the place most people think of when they hear the word "safari"—the heart of Africa, my country, Kenya. For special occasions, like welcoming you to my country today, we dress in the traditional way of my people—the Maasai.
As nomads we're intimately familiar with our land. We understand the importance of our country's unique animals. In fact, much of our grazing land has been urbanized and converted to game preserves so that these rare animals can be protected. Though you will start this Safari Quest here in Africa, you will travel all over the world. Because this is your last BioVentures Unlimited excursion, it's by far the wildest trip you've been sent on. So, I suppose you are wondering exactly what the object of the Safari Quest is. You'll learn about each group of animals in the Animal Kingdom, and you'll hunt for specimens from each of the major phyla.

Hello! I am Uzoma! Welcome to the Animal Kingdom Safari Quest!
Our history is steeped in tradition, and we have a rich culture. My people are known for being a nomadic tribe who graze cattle over this vast country. As you can see by the way my brother, Kakuta, is dressed, our men also have a reputation as fierce warriors.
