Material list:
- large flowers (ex. hibiscus) *You may want to have 2 or 3 of the flowers in case you mess up one.
- cutting board
- scalpel or razor blades or kitchen knife (BE CAREFUL)
- magnifying glass
- camera

Note: Take a picture of the flowers before you dissect them. You will then take a picture of a carefully dissected flower. You will include both images in your report.
NOTE: You may need to use your camera for pictures in the next lesson, so check your options in 7.04 so that you don’t develop your pictures until you finish the next lesson.

- Name 2 ways that cross-fertilization of flowers might happen (besides by the wind)?
- Why do you suppose the petals of flowers are so colorful, fragrant, uniquely shaped?
