Two Great Inventors

Two great inventors of the 15th century helped solve the mystery of the microscopic world by building the first microscope. The inventors were Anton van Leeuwenhoek and Robert Hooke.

Hooke called the units of cork that he saw in his microscope cells because the little boxes reminded him of the rows of small rooms in a monastery which were called cells; and its all history from that point!
