Energy Pyramid

In the energy pyramid you see the different trophic, or feeding levels, in relation to the amount of energy and biomass available in that level. In this model the total amount of energy available, and biomass, is largest at the bottom of the pyramid, in the producer level. As the organisms are eaten, both the biomass (number of organisms) and available energy are less and less.
