Exploring Moodle Modules

The Dialogue feature of Moodle allows students and teachers to have one-on-one written conversations within Moodle. When establishing the Dialogue feature within a course, teachers can choose to allow dialogues only between a teacher and student, only between students, or the teacher can allow dialogues between any two people--teachers or students.
